Coming from one of the most distinguished wineries in Australia, the Penfolds RWT Shiraz, also know as Bin 798, is an incredible wine made from 100% Shiraz from the Barossa Valley. RWT is made from fruit primarily selected for its aromatic qualities and lush texture before being matured for 17 months in French oak hogsheads with 70% being new and 30% at 1-year old. The 2014 vintage in particular had very low yields and created a much more elegant RWT than the usual, while still having sophistication and structure. This wine will be drinking incredibly now and will continue to continue to mature for a good while longer.
