Grant Burge Meshach Shiraz 2018

$150.00

The Meshach Shiraz is the flagship wine of the iconic Burge family, now headed by fifth-generation Barossa vigneron and winemaker, Grant Burge. This wine honours its namesake Meshach Burge, a winemaking pioneer and second generation vigneron of the Burge family. This wine was first released in 1988 making the 2018 vintage its 30th year anniversary. Fruit is sourced primarily from the Filsell Vineyard near Lyndoch which was planted in 1920, but also includes contributions from three small sites with vines over 100 years old. The wine is matured in new and old French oak for around 18 months. This is a big, bold and rich Shiraz that is both powerful and elegant at the same time.
