Chateau Pontet-Canet 2003

$320.00

Chateau Pontet-Canet is a historic wine estate in Paulliac, Bordeaux and is officially a Fifth Growth according to 1855 classification although it is often praised as a "super-second”, a term given to estates that consistently produce wine matching the quality and aging potential of the five official First Growths. The 2003 vintage was an extremely warm vintage in Bordeaux, and the consensus on it is very divisive but the 2003 Pontet-Canet pulled through wonderfully making a full bodied, age worthy Bordeaux that is still drinking Beautifully today.
